The Windsor Occupational Health Information Service (WOHIS) is a community based occupational health library, inquiry, video and referral service open to the entire community.

We service employees, employers, agencies and students. WOHIS holds thousands of publications, files, books, journals, clippings, educational materials and studies in our comprehensive library as well as many health and safety videos which are available for loan.

We encourage all residents of Windsor-Essex County to call regarding any occupational health and safety question you need answered, or come in to visit our library and check out our resources. Our staff will be happy to assist you.

  • Are you concerned about potentially hazardous materials or work practices?
  • Are you looking for solutions to your occupational health and safety problems?
  • Do you need more information regarding your rights under the Occupational Health and Safety Act?

Click Here to ask a health and safety question.

To help prepare students for their first jobs and make them aware of their rights in the workplace, a 3-part program is made possible with funding from United Way.
